DENSO announces 66 new applications in Cabin Air Filters Catalogue 2012/13

The world’s number one developer of original automotive Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems, DENSO, is proud to announce the expansion of its OE quality Cabin Air Filters programme for aftermarket customers. All new applications are listed in the new DENSO Cabin Air Filters Catalogue 2012/13 (ref: DECF12-0001).

The updated listings introduce 66 new applications including BMW X1, Citroën DS4, Ford C-Max, Hyundai i10, Mercedes-Benz SLR, RENAULT Logan, Skoda Yeti and Vauxhall/Opel Safira. In total the comprehensive programme now comprises 309 part numbers and covers more than 1,200 applications, equivalent to 80% of the European car parc.

DENSO’s OE quality, all-makes Cabin Air Filter (CAF) programme encompasses both Particle Filters and Combination Filters and is designed and manufactured to the same DENSO original equipment quality that vehicle manufacturers choose for their new cars. The new catalogue presents full details of the CAF programme in a clear, easy reference format, including details of filter types, application details as well as expert replacement advice.

DENSO’s Cabin Air Filters are exceptionally efficient at trapping and holding exhaust gases, containing up to five individual layers which trap almost 100% of harmful pollutants and particles. They also work without causing a drop in air pressure that could potentially damage a vehicle’s HVAC systems. The superior efficiency of DENSO’s designs also helps to keep the cabin free of condensation in colder conditions.

Berry Luigjes, Product Manager at DENSO Europe B.V.’s Business Unit After Market adds: “We recommend that every cabin air filter should be replaced at least once a year, every 10,000 -15,000km or as specified by the vehicle manufacturer to ensure optimum efficiency and hygienic air quality. This recent range expansion ensures that even more drivers will benefit from DENSO’s OE quality technology. With no unusual tools required, on average it only takes 15 minutes to replace a DENSO Cabin Air Filter making it a quick, simple and easy job.”

As well as the printed catalogue, details of DENSO’s continually expanding Cabin Air Filters programme are available online at www.denso-am.eu, in the Q1/2012 version of TecDoc from or from DENSO Europe B.V.’s Business Unit Aftermarket on +31 (0) 294 493 493.
