DENSO turns 65
This year marks DENSO Corporation’s 65th anniversary of supplying quality products to
the automotive industry. Today, DENSO is the number one global supplier of automotive
technology, systems and components according to the German magazine Automobil
Produktion.
So much has happened since DENSO’s last anniversary, in 2009, when the company turned 60. Despite economic uncertainty and market changes, DENSO has continued to invest in all areas of its business to ensure that they are of the highest standard and fully supporting a customer’s business going forward.
The impact of the economic crisis has led to significant changes within the European aftermarket. Vehicle quality (and therefore component quality) continues to improve, while cash strapped
motorists are changing their car servicing habits. Positively, the automotive aftermarket is currently adapting well to a more complex vehicle parc.
