May We Introduce . . .
Daniel Tolnay has joined DENSO as Sales Executive Hungary, where he will be responsible for building the company’s AM customer base across the country.
He has worked in the aftermarket for more than 10 years, starting his career as a stock purchaser at Lang Kft (Rhiag subsidiary) in 2004. In 2007, he moved to GROUPAUTO Hungary (formerly known as Start Auto) where he led the marketing and purchasing departments. Since 2013, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for CEE and Balkans at Delgrosso S.p.A. It is these roles that have allowed him to become familiar with the market trends and customer demands in the region.
Daniel lives in Budapest with his wife and two young sons. His passion for the automotive industry extends to his life outside work, with an interest in old cars; he likes to spend his free time repairing his BMW Youngtimer.
Our three new recruits bring exceptional creativity, experience and knowledge to DENSO
Hristo Karaulanov is the new Sales Executive Bulgaria and brings to the company a wealth of experience that included being a co-owner of a small business. Prior to joining DENSO, he worked for nine years at one of the biggest automotive spare parts wholesalers in Bulgaria, Auto Plus Bulgaria JSCo, as a Purchase Manager and Product Manager. His final two years there were spent overseeing the development of the automotive garage concept, Auto Crew, as an Auto Plus employee together with Robert Bosch Ltd. Before that, he worked as a Marketing Manager for ENEA Invest Ltd., the official product distributor for VALVOLINE in Bulgaria.
Happily married for almost a year, Hristo’s personal interests include football, snowboarding, martial arts and computer games.
Zdeněk Ulc, the new Sales Executive Czech Republic & Slovakia, is no stranger to working for major global brands. In 2007 he worked as Account Manager and Media Planner at Universal McCann, where he was responsible for handling client media communication. In 2009, he joined Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket as Regional Project Manager where he managed all marketing communication in Central-East Europe and North Europe. His involvement in the planning and execution of key marketing campaigns, managing budgets across multiple regions, as well as undertaking market analysis and competitor monitoring, has no doubt fully prepared him for his new role.
Away from work, he enjoys travelling, sports and photography, as well as spending time with his two sons.
“We are delighted to strengthen our sales offering across the region with the recruitment of these three new appointments”, said Richard Rybacek, Regional Manager Eastern Europe. ““They bring exceptional creativity, experience and knowledge to DENSO, and will be instrumental in the growth and development of our brand across Eastern Europe.”
