DENSO announces its 2025 UK karting competition

“Our now annual karting championship has proved to be a great success and hugely popular with both our direct customers and the professionals that install our original equipment products,” said DENSO’s UK and Eire Sales Manager, Kevin Peacocke, “so we are delighted to not only announce its continuation, but also the further expansion of the 2025 competition.”

As part of his prize for winning the 2024 final, Brett Ward, received a two-day pass for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and witnessed the return of a national hero to the top step of the podium, as multiple world champion Lewis Hamilton won the race, ending a three-year drought for the all-time highest Grand Prix winner.

Despite the vagaries of the British summer, Brett said it was an unbelievable two-day adventure and an excellent weekend all round, during which they not only saw Formula One qualifying and the Grand Prix live, but also the many other attractions, including past F1 cars and several support races.

“As has become customary, the 2025 championship will begin again in the autumn, with the final taking place in May,” Kevin continued, “but we are planning an expanded format that is likely to include 24 or 25 rounds and more regional venues.

“So, a call to action to hard working professional technicians: make sure you let your local DENSO distributor know that you want to take part in the competition and go toe-to-toe with the other entrants in your region, to have a shot at taking the DENSO UK Karting crown next May!”
