DENSO group donates fund for Morocco’s earthquake victims

On 8th September, thousands of people sadly died and many more were injured when buildings were damaged and destroyed in Morocco’s towns and remote mountain villages, in the strongest earthquake to hit the country since the 1960s

Many families have lost their homes and are in urgent need of shelter, safe water and medical care after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck high in the Atlas Mountains, southwest of Marrakech. Naturally, DENSO has expressed its deepest sympathy to all those who were affected by this disaster.

As a result, DENSO CORPORATION, DENSO INTERNATIONAL EUROPE B.V. (DIEU) and DENSO THERMAL SYSTEMS MOROCCO S.A.R.L. (DTMO) have donated a total of 80,000 euros to Morocco as support for the damage caused by the earthquake. At the same time, DENSO group plans to donate money from the ‘DENSO Group Heartful Fund’*.

DENSO extends its best wishes for a speedy recovery to all those affected.
