The holistic vision for sustainability that DENSO is committed to, encompasses efficient manufacturing, mobility products and energy utilisation.

It is therefore optimising and streamlining its manufacturing systems through IoT technologies and building in-house renewable energy systems to power all its facilities. In addition, any unavoidable CO² emissions that do occur are ‘recycled’ through capturing, circulating and reusing emissions, to generate further energy.

When it comes to mobility products, DENSO has been creating electrification technology for more than 70 years and is now developing advanced technologies that will power the battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles, which are essential to achieving the carbon neutral mobility of the future.

Finally, although enabling more sustainable mobility requires finding sources of renewable energy, it also requires more efficient energy utilisation. Often, sources like solar and wind energy suffer from unstable output because of dependencies on variables, such as the weather. So, to address this problem, DENSO is creating technologies to make energy generation, its storage and its use, as efficient as possible.
