On Friday April 13th, DENSO hosted an Iridium TT Spark Plug event at track Jastrząb in Poland. The event was attended by 80 representatives from DENSO distributors in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.
In order to operate as efficiently as possible, and to avoid any negative effects on a running engine’s ignition and combustion, spark plugs must be designed to withstand a wide range of extreme conditions.
DENSO tested an alternator from an anonymous Brand ‘X’ against the DENSO Design Standards (DDS) adhered to by our own OE quality alternators for the aftermarket. The tests rigorously examined the alternator’s performance, durability and welding composition. The Brand X alternator failed all three tests whilst the DENSO alternator outperformed the standards each time.
At their latest A/C Summit, DENSO offered 15 lucky customers and distributors the chance to learn about DENSO HVAC technology at the top of Germany´s highest mountain, the Zugspitze.
Since 1959, DENSO has been the world leading pioneer of OE quality spark plugs, and they remain one of DENSO’s main specialisms today.
