Spartan takes the victory in the Welsh round of the DENSO customer karting challenge

As the competition intensifies as the clock ticks down to the grand final on 4th May, the latest regional event has been won by Alex Criffield of Spartan Motor Factors, which has put him in the mix to be the 2024 Go Karting Champion

Held at Cardiff Teamsport, Bridgend in Cardiff on 19^th March, the Welsh event, which attracted 16 competitors from several factors and customers, was typically hard fought with no quarter asked or given. The three top placed finishers were, Alex Criffield, Lee Thomas and Luke Whippey.

“As we’ve come to expect, each regional event is a must win challenge to our highly enthusiastic and super competitive customers,” said DENSO’s UK and Eire Sales Manager, Kevin Peacocke, “and with the prospect of appearing in the final at Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire, which is a brilliant and challenging circuit, adding to the kudos of being crowned the 2024 DENSO Go Karting Champion, no one wants to miss out!

“However, in the end there can only be one finalist from each regional event, so our congratulations go to Alex, who will rightfully take his place in the grand final.”
